Royal Caribbean International has announced Grandeur of the Seas will be remaining in the fleet, after Pullmantur ceased operations.
The 1996-built Vision-class cruise ship was due to transfer to the Spanish cruise line in April 2021, after completing her last sailing with Royal Caribbean on 26 March 2021.
In an announcement to travel agents, Royal Caribbean stated: “With the recent news surrounding Pullmantur, Grandeur of the Seas will remain as a part of our Royal Caribbean International fleet. Once we have more information, we’ll be sure to share the details and look forward to many more memories to be made sailing on her!”
Once cruising resumes, the ship is scheduled to sail 8- and 12-night Southeast Coast and Southern Caribbean cruises from Baltimore. As part of original plans, Enchantment of the Seas was due to take over sailings out of the Maryland port.
Royal Caribbean International is expected to release future itineraries on Grandeur of the Seas at a later date.
