4 Ships Leaving Holland America Fleet

Holland America Line has announced that four of their cruise ships are leaving the fleet and transferring to undisclosed buyers.

Maasdam and Veendam will transfer to an operator in August 2020, while Amsterdam and Rotterdam will join another different operator in the autumn.

Following the announcement, Holland America has cancelled all future sailings on these ships and is contacting guests with their options. Some itineraries will be taken over by other ships in the fleet. The 2021 Grand World Voyage on Amsterdam has been postponed to 2022 and will instead sail on Zaandam. Rotterdam’s Grand Africa Voyage in October 2021 will also now operate with Zaandam instead.

Holland America did not reveal which operators the ships had been sold to.
