Carnival Imagination has now been beached at the ship scrapyard in Aliaga, Turkey.
Carnival Imagination has been positioned next to Carnival Fantasy, at the crowded shipyard near Izmir in Turkey.
Entering service with Carnival Cruise Line in 1995, the ship completed its final voyage having left Willemstad in Curacao on 26 August, where heavy equipment and valuables were removed.
She joins the former Pullmantur ships Monarch and Sovereign, which were beached in July and she is also joined by her sister ships Carnival Fantasy and Carnival Inspiration which reached the scrapyard at the start of August.
